The Unpredictable Shifts with Technological Innovation in the Visual Media. 

In this engaging and informative podcast Prof. Jean-Philippe Wade and Michael Hatton from the Video Technology Department at DUT discuss the development of various technologies in the visual media ranging from early projectors, colour, sound and deep focus to Virtual Reality and holograms. Using the free-wheeling conversational style of podcasts, the aim is not provide a formal lecture but rather a means to engage listeners in how visual technologies have developed in a non-linear fashion guided by the quest for realism and magic.
