This poem is inspired by the changes that are taking place around the globe during covid-19. The use of the word “Hawk” implies to the remorseless cough that is abruptly taking away many innocent souls. The poet used various figures of speech to interpret/expound the impact of this pandemic in our lives, habits and the economy. The pain the world had to endure is expressed through words although the heartfelt wounds encountered are eternal.
