City Campus in VR

This is a look at DUT City Campus in Virtual Reality. These areas were filmed one morning during the level one lockdown period. The visuals are a full 360-degree view showing different areas of the campus. Using Virtual Reality as a medium I wanted the viewer to feel as if they were ‘actually’ on campus during this lockdown period, taking in the sights and sounds from different perspectives. This is also why I decided to not add music and only use audio captured from the 360-degree camera. This would allow the viewer to hear the natural sounds on campus, adding to the Virtual Reality experience. (This video is best watched with a VR headset).
